Portsmouth, Feb. 26- Health authorities blamed today a cow which drank contaminated water from a creek for the death of Mrs. Alize Hazelbaker, 39, from typhoid fever.
The woman's daughter, Hilda Mae, died Jan. 18 of typhoid. Six other children have been stricken with the disease.
Health authorities said the typhoid germ apparently came from the mile of a cow which drank from Pond Run creek, which served as a drain for a Civilian Conservation Corps camp.
