Woman, 83, is Taken by Death At Home Here

Mrs. Phil Pfeiffer, 83, 1157 W. North-st, mother of Miss Mae Pfeiffer, chief juvenile court officer, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in her home. She had been ailing for 10 years, and had been seriously ill for three months.
Mrs. Pfeiffer was born in Portsmouth, but had lived in Lima for the last 22 years. She was a member of the High Street Untied Brethren Church.
She is survived by her husband, and three other daughters, Mrs. John Mitchell, of Phoenix, AZ; Mrs. Chester Bonecutter, of Shelby, and Mrs. Harry Fritz, of Lima. She also leaves 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the home. The Rev. L. H. Myers and the Rev. J. B. Bovey will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery. Cantwell undertaking home will be in charge of the service.
