Burglars Fire House They Rob

Deed of Wanton Deviltry Follows Marauding of Home at Portsmouth, O.

Portsmouth, Ohio, April 29. - The home of Thomas Sikes at Wheelersburg, was burglarized last night.  After the burglars had secured everything available the house was set on fire and burned.  The family was rescued but all narrowly escaped.  It is believed that the deed was committed by the same gang that recently robbed the postoffice and other places at Wheelersburg.  Officers are in pursuit.
