Wheelersburg Fire

Portsmouth, O., Oct. 27 - A disastrous fire occured at Wheelersburg, a small town of 600 inhabitants about 10 miles from this city. The fire caught from this city. The fire caught from a defective flue in the Stewart hotel, spreading rapidly to an undertaking establishment. From there the flames passed to a church building used by the Seventh Day Adventists. Total damage, $10,000.
