File Manslaughter Charges

Portsmouth, Oh (UPI) Police Friday filed three separate second degree traffic manslaughter charges against Eugene Adkin. Portsmouth, in the traffic deaths of three teenagers.

Adkins, 34, allegedly ran a red light and was speeding when his car slammed into a car carrying the three victims at a city intersection near downtown last week.

Killed were Barbara Bauer, 15, Beverly Hubbard, 14, and Raymond Bays, 14, all of Portsmouth.

Police said Adkins probably would appear in court Monday to face the charges. Three other persons, including Adkins, were injured in the crash.
