2 Deputies Dismissed

Portsmouth, O., July 2 - (AP)

Sheriff's deputies Al Bridwell and Arthur Oakes today blamed "politics" for their dismissal by Sheriff Maurice Caldwell.  The sheriff said the men were dismissed for the summer months in the interest of economy.  Bridwell is a former major league baseball player.
