A.J. Padan, an insurance agent , filed a bill of bankruptcy here in the United States circuit court. Mr. Padan acknowledges and indebtedness of $158,655. His creditors are all in OH, and the bills and papers call for payment at Portsmouth, OH. The petitioner states that his only property is the household goods valued at $140, which he claims to be exempt. Mr. Padan says that he assigned in OH three and a half years ago, but that the courts did not grant him relief.
