Man Held in Parole Case

Midland police are holding Leonard L Adkins, 36, of Sias, WV, as an alleged parole violator after release from Ohio Penitentiary in December, 1949, where he served time on a forgery conviction from Scioto County. He was arrested Thursday night when he called at a Midland laundry. Police said he worked two months at the mill then quit in May to work at a farm. He will be returned by Ohio Bureau of Probation an Parole at Columbus.
