Portsmouth, O., July 23. - Judge Milner ruled in the habeas corpus proceedings in behalf of Miss Mollie Frye that she must answer the questions propounded in the taking of her deposition in her suit against the estate of William Mee for $20,000, or go to jail for contempt as ordered by notary.

Portsmouth--Mollie Frey, who sued the estate of William Hill, a hermit, for $20,000 on a note alleged to have been given to her on the promise to marry him, lost her suit. The jury declared the note a forgery.
