William McClanahan Shot a Policeman

Cincinnati, July 12 -AP- Charles Fricke, police lieutenant, was shot in the right side during a hand to hand battle with William McClanahan, 34, Portsmouth iron worker, who shot the policeman in an attempt to escape arrest after robbing a grocery store. Fricke was unarmed but overpowered the man.
