Jack F. Gehrling & Adeline Born

Jack F. Gehriling, brick mason at the state penitentiary, stole a march on his friends and was married Saturday afternoon at the county court house by Justice Pierce. the bride was Miss Adeline Born, of Wheelersburg, O. The ceremony occurred at 4 o'clock in the afternoon and the couple tried to keep the affair a secret. But in some manner it leaked out and a number of their friends went to the home of Ira Griffin on Front street, where the newly wedded couple have temporary quarters and charivaried them.
Mr. Gehrling has charge of the brick work at the penitentiary and has a large circle of friends and acquaintances in the city, all of whom wish him and his bride long life and happiness.
