Woman Threatened Suicide

Portsmouth, O., Sept. 18. - Just as she had been denied a divorce decree by Judge Blair, pretty Mrs. May Perkins, 22, threw the courtroom into an uproar by attempting to drain a two-ounce bottle of chloroform.  "It is divorce or death for me," she shouted, but Judge Blair and court attaches were successful in postponing both.
