Rev. Elijah Dunaway Secures Divorce

Rev. Elijah Dunaway recently secured a divorced from his wife, and was given custody of their child. Mrs. Dunaway fled with the child to Kentucky before the order of the court could be secured on her. Rev. Dunaway went to her residence at Springville to secure the child. The mother, reinforced by several friends, attacked him with shovels, clubs, and boulders. Dunaway escaped being killed only by the prompt interference of friends. His skull was fractured and he is in critical condition.
