Accidental Shooting

  Portsmouth, O., Dec. 28. - While hunting Berl Cooper, 19, was shot through the spine and almost instantly killed by Edward Burton.

  A Winchester rifle was accidentally discharged while Burton was trying to throw out what was supposed to be a blank cartridge.
  Burton became hysterical after the tragedy and tried to commit suicide.
