Citizens Fight Ban on Dancing

The New Boston city council passed an ordinance prohibiting dancing and other entertainment where beer, wine, or intoxicating liquors are sold, but the New Bostonians will have the final words on it.

Passed 30 days ago, the measure was to become effective today. But the county board of elections here received a petition signed by 306 electors, and as a result the measure will be voted on in November.
