Mary E. Martin

Portsmouth, O., June 29.-

Miss Mary E. Martin of Lucasville, this county has been declared insane and ordered sent to the asylum. Recently Miss Martin made an engagement to attend a party with a young man to whom she was betrothed. He not appearing she went alone. To her surprise he appeared with another young lady. He snubbed his fiancee. Miss Martin worried over the affair so greatly that she became insane, imagining that her former lover is persecuting her.
