Portsmouth, Ohio (UPI) -- the substation of the Moon Motor Truck Freight Co. at McDermott, Ohio, was the scene of an attempted bombing early Tuesday. Station Manager Lewis Shannon said that upon investigating a noise outside the place he found four sticks of dynamite wrapped in cloth. Shannon said he picked up the package and tossed it into a near by field where it went off before it hit the ground. The blast blew a three by five foot crater.
