Cincinnati, Dec. 26-(AP)- Police looked for "Mother" today in an effort to satisfy the Christmas longing of 10-year-old Henry Carter of Portsmouth.
The boy, hungry and sobbing, was found by officers last night as they patroled a section of Ohio river bottoms land. He had hitchhiked from the home of an aunt, he said, giving her name as Bessie Marlow.
Henry was given a belated Christmas dinner, then placed in the juvenile detention home, while police notified Portsmouth authorities and continued search for "Mother."
