2 Sentenced to Life as Holdup Murderers

Portsmouth, O., Oct. 24- Clyde Phipps, 19, was sentenced to a life term in Ohio penitentiary for the murder of Harry Campbell, gasoline filling station manager. He was found guilty by a three-judge court, sitting in a capital case for the first time in Scioto-co. Immediately after sentencing Phipps, Judge Russell K. McCurdy, one of the tribunal, similarly sentenced Kenneth Prince for his part in the crime. Prince was convicted by a jury, several weeks ago.
