Fatally Wounds Neighbor

Portsmouth, O., Aug. 12. Thomas Patton shot and probably wounded John Wiehle, 45, who tried to drive his threshing machine through Patton's farm. Eight threshermen witnessed the quarrel, but before they could separate them Patton had fired and barricaded himself in the house. Constable Jones arrested Patton. Wiehle is wealthy and owns a number of sawmills.
