Murder Charges Face 2 After Holdup Killing

Terry Campbell, 28, father of two small children, and victim of wounds recieved when he resisted the attempt of two bandits to hold up his filling station. Prince and Phipps admitted participation in the hold up, Police Chief Harry Sheets said.

 

Indictments name 2 as First Degree Slayers

Kenneth Prince, 21 and Clyde Phipps, 20, have been indicted for first degree murder int he death of Terry Campbell, 28, father of three children, shot fatally when he resisted the alleged attempt of murder.

Youth Convicted Of Slaying, To Get Life

Kenneth Prince, 21, faces a sentence of life imprisonment following his conviction on a charge of murder, for the death of Terry Campbell, 27, filling station manager. Campbell was slaiin June 24 during attempted robbery.
