Former Publisher at Portsmouth is Dead

Col. Frank Friel, 68, who published the Portsmouth, O, Blade from 1911 to 1913, died yesterday of heart disease.  He formerly published the Independent, a weekly, at Catletsburg, Kentucky, and a newspaper here.  He had been in the insurance business since 1913.
