Drys Parade in the Streets

Portsmouth, O., Sept. 4. - The opening gun of the dry campaign for Scioto county was fired in Portsmouth when the congregations of a dozen churches, numbering 2,000 or more persons, led by a band, paraded the streets, while a vast throng of local option constituents were addressed by Wayne B. Wheeler of the Anti-Saloon league at the big tabernacle built for Billy Sunday.
