A 35-year-old brother of Miss Margaret Rowson, formerly superintendent of Coshocton Memorial hospital, was one of three persons who drowned yesterday in the Ohio River at Portsmouth, O., according to a wire dispatch.

Dent Rowson, 35, Portsmouth high school teacher, and his brother-in-law, Harold Lee, 43, of Wheelersburg, O., lost their lives in a futile attempt to save Lee's four-year-old son.

The child fell out of a motor boat and the father dived into the river after him.  Rowson saw the mishap from the bank and swam out to help.  The bodies were not recovered.
