Steam Canal Packet
Captain G. W. Williamson arrived at Portsmouth a few days since on the deck of his new Steam Canal packet, Bostona--between Chillicothe and that point she averaged something over three miles an hour--on some levels she ran four miles an hour. She was fitted out at Chillicothe. Capt. Williamson started on the return to Chillicothe on Saturday morning at 4 o'clock on a pleasure trip, intending to accomplish the trip through the daylight. The Bostona will be ready for the trade in about two weeks.
