OSU President Collapses in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH, O., Dec. 6. (AP- George W. Rightmire president of Ohio State University, collapsed here last night following three addresses here. He had addressed the Rotary Club, Scioto County Alumni of Ohio State University and the High school student body and as he left the latter building he collapsed on the steps. After emergency treatment he revived and was removed by automobile to the home of his mother Mrs. Louisa Rightmire at Wheelersburg, nine miles from here, where he is under the care of Dr. J. S. Rardin, Portsmouth physician. Dr. Rardin, said Mr. Rightmire's condition was not serious but advised his patient to rest for three or four days. An attack of acute indigestion aggrevated Dr. Rightmire's condition. Dr. Rightmire has been on a speakin tour for several days, coming here from Pittsburgh.
