Striking Pupils Take Firm Stand

A strike of 171 of 350 students at nearby Wheelersburg high school went unsettled today after meeting between school board officials and leaders of the walkout.

The students walked out Thursday, then refused to report back to class yesterday. The strike was touched off by the forced resignation of George T. Thomas, school musical instructor.
