Gas Vein Explodes

The Cincinnati Enquirer's special says:  A party at Sciotoville, six miles from that city, struck a vein of gas yesterday at the depth of 1,035 feet.  Gas has been burning all day to the height of 15 feet, and it is thought that enough can be obtained to supply the city of Portsmouth.
