Two Chicago, Ill., men were arrested in nearby Sciotoville late Friday night in connection with the theft of $25,000 in Railway Express money orders from Chicago.
The suspects were identified as Harold Hunter, 20, and Bill Parks, about 20. They said they had lived in Chicago about five years. Hunter gave his home address as Edgewood, W.Va., and Parks said he was from Grundyville, Va.
Authorities said the pair posed as Railway Express agents and picked up the money orders from a variety of stores in Chicago. It was believed the theft took place in late January or early February.
