Mrs. Margaret Weiss Has First Train Ride

Waverly, O., July 20.-- Mrs. Margaret Weiss, aged 70, experienced her first ride on the steam cars yesterday. The occasion was a visit to her son in Portsmouth. Mrs. Weiss, who has resided in this city nearly all her life, was born in Germany and emigrated to this country when quite young, before the days of the locomotive, traveling overland via the old stage coach.
