Portsmouth to Columbus Railroad

Articles of association for the organization of a company for the construction of a Railroad from Porstmouth on the Ohio River, up the Scioto Valley to Columbus, thence through Lima and Definance to the Michigan line at Madison township, Williams county, have been filed in the Secretary of States' office of Columbus. What interest is behind this movement has not been announced.
