MHS Veteran's Day Assembly

Students and staff were given the opportunity to meet American Veterans at an assembly held on November 8, 2000.

Mr. Paul Maple, veteran of World War II, spoke to the student body about his tour of duty in France.  He spoke about his experiences landing at Omaha Beach, and the emotions felt by all of the men when they saw the many rows of white crosses erected for the American men who lost their lives fighting in France.
