Promoted about the same time were these two sons of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Goddard of Sciotoville Route 2, serving in different branches of service.

Cecil, who recently was made a sergeant in the US Army Air Forces, is in foreign service.  His brother, Chester L. now a radioman third class in the Navy is studying to be a radio technician at Oklahoma University.
