Pfc. Charles R. Twinam, of Sciotoville Rt. 2, was wounded seriously in action in Germany, March 14. 

The war department advised his father that Pfc. Twinam was wounded in his left leg and he is in a hospital in France.

We was shot shortly after crossing the Rhine. 

Pfc. Twinam entered the army Feb. 13, 1943 and went overseas in May 1944.
