S SGT Henry D. Brame

Information from The Portsmouth Times, January 6, 1949.

The body of S Sgt. Henry D. Brame, who was killed in action in Germany on April 3, 1945 while serving with the 80th Division in Europe has arrived at Erwin Funeral Home for removal to the home of the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Brame of Sciotoville Rt. 2.

S. Sgt Brame was born January 29, 1919.  He was a graduate of Minford High School.

Surviving with the parents are his wife, Ethel Gee Brame; a son, William Larry, a daughter, Phyllis Jean, a sister, Mrs. Cecil Nibert; a brother, Willard Brame, all of Sciotoville Rt. 2 and a brother, Ernest Brame of Lucasville Rt. 2.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Carmel church.  Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
