The Minford High School Marching Band was organized in September 1938, by Mr. E. R. McCowen. 

At the beginning of the third year, Mr. Dan Heitzman succeeded Mr. McGowen as director.

During World War II, the All County Band was discontinued.  It began again in 1946. 

We could not locate a photo of the first band in 1938.
