| Minford High School will present its 12th annual Spring concert
Thursday at 8 pm in the school auditorium. Part one will be devoted
to a program by the Girls' Glee Club and the second half to the band
under the direction of James Mitchell.
Under the direction of Mrs. Harriett Martin the glee club will offer:
"It's a Grand Night for Singing", "Smoke Gets in Your
Eyes", "Sympathy Waltz Song", "I Heard a Forest
Praying" and "The Bells of St. Mary's". A senior girls'
ensemble will offer "Tea For Two".
The band's numbers will be: "His Honor", "Spirit of
Youth", "Olympia", "Men of Wisconsin", "Eldorado",
"H.M.S Pinafore Selection", "Dusty Trombone", "Pacific
Moon" and "Bandjive".
The Finale will be a combined glee club and band presenting Barnby's
"Now the Day is Over", followed by the national anthem.
