What do your parents do for a living? My
father is marketing manager for Timken.
What school did you attend at home? I
attended a catholic private school named Colegio Notre Dame Rou'nha dos
Apo'stolo.
What grade did you complete? The
11th Grade.
What did you do in your spare time? I
used to go to the gym, play soccer, hang around the parks, go to dance
clubs, parties at my friend's house, go out with my parents, read, listen
to music, and play the guitar.
What is the biggest difference between
your school and MHS? In Brazil we can not
choose the subjects, only sports and drama club. I have never studied
in a public school
before, because in Brazil the public education is poor.
What is the best thing about living
in the U.S? The government provides good things to everybody,
I really like the school.
What food do you miss most? I
miss the rice, beans, and beef that my mom cooks.
What kind of sports, clubs, and
activities did you have at your home school? Volleyball, basketball,
handball, soccer, karate, gymnastics, drama club, and band.
Describe your hometown: My
city is too big, there are about 15 million people. In Saul Paulo,
you can
find whatever you want whenever you want, that city never stops. There
are a lot of buildings, shopping malls, good restaurants, and being a
big city, unfortunately there is also poverty.
