Amy Boyer

AKA: Mimi

When I am not at school, you will probably find me: at home, the Life Center, or some ball field somewhere.

I would have the best chance of winning on (game or reality show): Family Feud, Cash Cab, Amazing Race.

Most annoying student habit: Not doing homework or not paying attention.

If you looked on my iPod you would find: My sons bought me one for Mother's Day 2 years ago and I still don't have any music on it...but when I do it will have a wide variety of genres and artists ranging from classical to broadway to pop to old rock.

Best place I've ever vacationed: Anywhere there is a beach...Sunset Beach...also New York City....AMAZING!!!

If I hadn't chosen the teaching profession, my second choice would have been: At one time I thought about physical therapy.

Favorite childhood toy: I played a lot with my three brothers, so I was a tomboy sometimes...hot wheels, baseball gloves and bats, bikes, etc., but I also liked my Barbies/Playhouse, and jumprope. I have a unicycle too!! Maybe that's why I have such a balanced personality:)

When I was growing up, my favortie celebrity HOTTIE was: Donny Osmand, Erik Estrada, Sylvester Stallone....tall, dark, and handsome!!!

In high school, I was involved in: Track and field, student government, flag corp...I also worked after school and/or in the summer...florist, department store, Sea World, and Geauga Lake.

If I had to live on a deserted Island with two staff members, I would take: Good Question...I need to think about that one!

First Concert I attended: Probably something like Journey or Styx...I can't really remember, But we had this great outdoor venue called Blossom where most of the high school kids went to see concerts...or the old Cleveland Colliseum. Does anyone remember Beatlemania???

Best home cooked meal: I loved my mom's Sunday dinners. We'd have roasted chicken with gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, etc. I also love my mom's and Grandma Gaglione's chicked cattiatori.

School subject I would have to teach: That's tough. I'm not really sure, but I know I wouldn't want to teach all subjects again like we used to do...too many standards, indicators, and benchmarks to keep up with.

I can play (musical instruments): I took piano lessons, but can play very little...Heart and Soul. However, I'd love to be able to play. Maybe I'll take it up in my retirement. 12 years old was not a good age for me to be taking music lessons.

i with they would make new episodes of: SEINFELD!!! The Cosby Show, All in the Family, Mash, The Waltons.

Best Junk Food: Fast Food

When I was growing up, I usually got in trouble because: Aggravating brothers and sister, back-talking.
