Ray Bayes
United States Army

Served from 1966 to 1968.

Mr. Bayes served as an E4 in the 25th Infantry in Viet Nam.



Al Don Cisco
United States Navy Reserve

Served from 1966 - 1970.

Mr. Cisco was stationed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.



Steve Crabtree
United States Army Reserve

Served in the U.S. Army Reserve for six years.

Mr. Crabtree completed his six years locally.

Mr. Crabtree was given the Viet Nam Service Award.


Kenn Knore
United States Air Force

Served from 1970 - 1974.

Mr. Knore was stationed at:

6993 Security Squadron
Kelly Air Force Base
San Antonio, Texas
 

Biloxi, Mississippi

6994 Security Squadron
Nakhon Phanom RTAFB
Thailand

Mr. Knore worked as a:

Morse Systems Operator in Texas

Airborne Radio Direction Finding Specialist
in Thailand

He received the following medals and citations:

Republic of Viet Nam Service Medal
The Air Medal (Basic)
The Air Medal (First Oak Leaf Cluster)



Jim Parkes
United States Army

Mr. Parkes served in the United States Army from 1969 - 1971.

He was stationed at:

Fort Knox, Kentucky
Fort Polk, Louisiana
Fort Benning, Georgia
Camp Eagle in the Northern Region of South Viet Nam

While in the U.S. Army, Mr. Parkes was trained in:

Advanced Infantry
Airborne School (Jump School)
Pathfinder School

In 1970 and 1971 he was a member of the
101st Airborne Pathfinders


Bob Raby, United States Army

Served from 1961 to 1963.

Mr. Raby served as an E4 in the 26th Infantry.

He worked as a Radio Operator.


Bob Shaffer, United States Marines

Served from 1967 - 1969.

Mr. Shaffer was stationed at:

Paris Island, South Carolina
Camp Legune, North Carolina
Okanawa, Japan
Republic of South Viet Nam

Mr. Shaffer was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries he received from shrapnel in Viet Nam.


Dave Smith, United States Navy

Served from 1959 to 1978.

Mr. Smith was stationed at:

Great Lakes, Illinois
Beeville, Texas
Training Squadron 25, Sigonella, Sicily
USS Saratoga, CVA-60, Mediterranean Cruise
Attack Squadron 122, Lemore, California
USS Kitty Hawk, CVA-63; 3 cruises to Viet Nam
Navy Recruiting Station, Portsmouth, Ohio
AOC School, Memphis, Tennessee
USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, CVN-69;
(He was the 22nd man to ever board the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower)
Retired on October 16, 1978

Mr. Smith received the following awards and citations:

He completed his high school education while in the Navy.  He also attended college through correspondence while at sea.


Joe Stockham
United States Navy

Mr. Stockham served in the U.S. Navy for one year.

He was stationed in:

Boston, Massachusetts
New York, New York
