MISSION
The
mission of OhioReads is to
ensure that all children
in Ohio are reading at grade
level by the end of elementary
school. By getting involved
with OhioReads, you can help
make that happen. Take a
look at the ways you can
get involved:
PARENTS
Parent
participation in the OhioReads
initiative is critical.
Parental involvement dramatically helps improve children’s
reading skills.
Parents can participate in OhioReads by becoming
volunteer reading tutors and encouraging others to
get involved, too.
Parents can also help their children learn to reading
by participating in summer and other literacy programs
and by reading with their child every day.
