Home of The  2000 - 2001 SOC II Champs Minford Falcons  Football Team

The Falcons avenged over 15 years of loosing to Wheelersburg by beating them more times this year than in the history of the rivalry.  The first game was held at Wheelersburg and the outcome decided who would take the SOC Crown and Minford came out on top 24-14.  The second game had much more on the line for both teams.  Minford came into this game with home field advantage but were in a totally different atmosphere.  They were playing the first playoff game since 1985 and were favored to win the contest against thier rival Wheelersburg.  Wheelersburg also had much to loose in the game Friday.  Their streak of 35 seasons with a winning record was going to be threatened.
