GABBLE: Chatterbox relief

GABBLE.JSE is a script for ScriptEase to provide a simple chat room.

GABBLE.JSE contains no knowledge about the topic being discussed; all of that information is contained in files in a specified directory. To create a new GABBLE discussion topic you create a new directory and in that directory create the following required file:

• GABTOPIC.TXT: The first line of this required file is the topic to be used as the title of the gabble chat screens. Any additional information in this file will be displayed in the Gabble registration screen (the initial screen where participants enter their handle or name). This can be any text information you want to tell your users before they run the program. For example, you may want to give an explanation of the gabble topic or any rules peculiar to the discussion.
